باب ما يؤمر به الإمام من التخفيف
Chapter on what the Imam is commanded regarding making the prayer light
Hadith Number: 2550
(وعنه من طريق ثالث) ان آخر كلام كلمني به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إذا استعملني على الطائف فقال: ((خفف الصلاة على الناس حتى وقت لي {اقرا باسم ربك الذي خلق} واشباهها من القرآن))
(The third chain) They say: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appointed me as the governor of Ta’if, the very last thing he instructed me was: Make things easy for the people regarding prayer, to the extent that he, peace and blessings be upon him, specified Surah Al-‘Alaq and similar surahs for me.
