باب وجوب الجمعة والتغليظ فى تركها وعلى من تجب
Chapter on the obligation of Friday prayer, the severity of leaving it, and upon whom it is obligatory
Hadith Number: 2716
عن عبد الله (يعني ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه) ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال لقوم يتخللون عن الجمعة: ((لقد هممت ان آمر رجلا يصلي بالناس ثم احرق على رجال يتخللون عن الجمعة بيوتهم))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding those who stay behind from the Friday prayer: I intended to order a man to lead the prayer, and I myself would go with some men to burn the houses of those who stay behind from the Friday prayer.
