باب الآذان للجمعة إذا جلس على المنبر وكيف كان المنبر على عهد رسول الله ﷺ
Chapter on the call to prayer for Friday when the Imam sits on the pulpit and how the pulpit was in the time of the Messenger of Allah
Hadith Number: 2780
(وعنه ايضا قال:) كان الاذان على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وابي بكر وعمر رضي الله عنهما اذان حتى كان زمن عثمان فكثر الناس فامر بالاذان الاول بالزوراء
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'ib (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), there used to be two calls to prayer (adhan), until the era of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) came and the people increased in number, so he ordered the first adhan to be given at Zawra.
