Chapter on the number and place of Takbirs in Eid prayer
Hadith Number: 2853
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((التكبير في العيدين سبعا قبل القراءة وخمسا بعد القراءة))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In the two Eids, there are seven takbirs before the recitation and five after the recitation.
تخریج الحدیث: «اسناده ضعيف، ابن لھيعة سييء الحفظ، وقوله فيه: ’’وخمسا بعد القراء ة‘‘ منكر، (انظر مسند أحمد ترقيم الرسالة: 8679 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 8664»
