باب فضل الصلاة على الميت وتشييع الجنازة
Chapter on the virtue of praying over the deceased and accompanying the funeral
Hadith Number: 3138
عن عبد الله بن مغفل رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((من تبع جنازة يصلي عليها فله قيراط، ومن انتظرها حتى يفرغ منها فله قيراطان))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever remains with the deceased until the funeral prayer is offered, he will receive one qirat of reward, and whoever waits until the burial is completed, he will receive two qirat of reward.
