باب عدد تكبير صلاة الجنازة وما جاء فى التسليم منها
Chapter on the number of Takbirs in the funeral prayer and what is reported regarding the salam in it
Hadith Number: 3178
(ومن طريق ثان) عن عبد الاعلى قال: صليت خلف زيد بن ارقم رضي الله عنه على جنازة فكبر خمسا، فقام إليه ابو عيسى عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى، فاخذ بيده فقال: نسيت؟ قال: لا، ولكن صليت خلف ابي القاسم خليلي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فكبر خمسا فلا اتركها
(Second Chain) Abdul A’la says: I performed the funeral prayer behind Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said five takbirs. Abu Isa Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila went to him, took his hand, and said: Did you forget? He replied: No, I did not. I performed the funeral prayer behind my beloved Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him), and he also said five takbirs, so I will not abandon this practice.
