Chapter on the position of the one praying over the man and woman if he is Imam or alone, and what to do if there are different types of funerals
Hadith Number: 3189
عن انس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال: مات ابن لابي طلحة فصلى عليه النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فقام ابو طلحة خلف النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وام سليم خلف ابي طلحة كانهم عرف ديك، واشار بيده
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the son of Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led his funeral prayer. Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) stood behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) stood behind him. They appeared like the comb of a rooster. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) clarified this by gesturing with his hand.
