Chapters on Funeral Prayer
باب ما جاء فى حمل الجنازة والإسراع بها من غير رمل
Chapter on what is reported regarding carrying the funeral and hastening with it without running
Hadith Number: 3199
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه يقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إذا تبع جنازة، قال: ((انبسطوا بها ولا تدبوا دبيب اليهود بجنائزها))
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would go with a funeral, he would say: Carry it quickly and do not carry the funeral slowly like the Jews.
