Chapter: Forbidding the Wealthy from Begging, the Definition of Wealth, and Who Is Not Permitted to Receive Charity
Hadith Number: 3503
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((إن الصدقة لا تحل لغني ولا لذي مرة سوي))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Charity is not lawful for the wealthy and the healthy and strong.
