Chapter: Forbidding the Wealthy from Begging, the Definition of Wealth, and Who Is Not Permitted to Receive Charity
Hadith Number: 3505
عن عطاء بن يسار عن رجل من بني اسد قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((من سال وله اوقية او عدلها فقد سال إلحافا))
A man from Banu Asad narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever owns one uqiyah or something equivalent to it and still begs, then (it will mean that) he has begged insistently and clung to begging (which is not his right).
