Chapter: Permissibility of Accepting Gifts Without Asking, and Asking the Righteous if Necessary
Hadith Number: 3544
Sayyiduna Khalid bin Adi Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever receives something (such as a gift, grant, or present) from his Muslim brother without asking for it and without greed, then he should accept it and not return it, for it is sustenance from Allah which He has drawn towards him.
