باب نهي المتصدق عن مشترى ما تصدق به
Chapter: Forbidding the Giver from Buying Back What He Gave in Charity
Hadith Number: 3555
عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما ان عمر حمل على فرس في سبيل الله ثم رآها تباع فاراد ان يشتريها، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((لا تعد في صدقتك))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave a horse in charity in the way of Allah Almighty, and later saw that it was being sold, so he wanted to buy it. But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Do not take back what you have given in charity.
