باب من يكتفي بشهادته برؤية الهلال فى الصوم والفطر
Chapter: Whoever Suffices with His Own Testimony of Sighting the Crescent for Fasting and Breaking the Fast
Hadith Number: 3696
عن انس بن مالك رضي الله عنه ان عمومة له شهدوا عند النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم على رؤية الهلال، فامر الناس ان يفطروا وان يخرجوا لعيدهم من الغد
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that his uncles testified to the sighting of the moon before the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Therefore, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered the people to break their fast and to go out for Eid the next day.
