Section: On the Description of the True Dawn and the False Dawn, and What Has Been Reported Regarding the Adhan of Bilal and Ibn Umm Maktum
Hadith Number: 3742
عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((إن بلالا يؤذن بليل فكلوا واشربوا حتى يؤذن ابن ام مكتوم))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gives the call to prayer at night, so keep eating and drinking until Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) gives the call to prayer.
