باب جواز العمرة فى جميع أشهر السنة قبل الحج وبعده ومعه
Chapter: Permissibility of Performing Umrah in All Months of the Year, Before, After, or Along with Hajj
Hadith Number: 4107
عن ابن ابي مليكة قال: قال عروة لابن عباس رضي الله عنه حتى متى تضل الناس يا ابن عباس، قال: ما ذاك يا عروة؟ قال: تامرنا بالعمرة في اشهر الحج وقد نهى ابو بكر وعمر، فقال ابن عباس: قد فعلها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم، فقال عروة: كانا هما اتبع لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم واعلم به منك
Urwah said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): O Ibn Abbas! How long will you continue to mislead the people? He said: Urwah! What is the matter? He said: You permit people to perform Umrah during the months of Hajj, whereas Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to prohibit this. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This is an act that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself performed. Urwah said: But both of them followed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) more than you and had more knowledge about him.
