Hadith Number: 4144
عن عمرو بن شعيب عن ابيه عن جده قال: وقت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم لاهل المدينة ذا الحليفة، ولاهل الشام الجحفة، ولاهل اليمن واهل تهامة يلملم، ولاهل الطائف وهي نجد قرنا، ولاهل العراق ذات عرق
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Dhu’l-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfah for the people of Sham, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen and Tihamah, Qarn for the people of Ta’if, that is, the people of Najd, and Dhat ‘Irq for the people of Iraq.
