Section: What a Menstruating or Postpartum Woman Should Do Before and After Entering Ihram
Hadith Number: 4165
عن اسماء بنت عميس رضي الله عنها انها ولدت محمد بن ابي بكر بالبيداء فذكر ذلك ابو بكر لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((مرها فلتغتسل ثم لتهل))
Lady Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) at the place of Bida’ during the Farewell Pilgrimage. When Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Instruct her to perform ghusl (ritual bath) and then enter into ihram.
