باب ما جاء فى نكاح المحرم وإنكاحه وخطبته
Chapter: What Has Been Reported Regarding Marriage, Arranging Marriage, and Proposing While in Ihram
Hadith Number: 4280
عن ابان بن عثمان (بن عفان) عن ابيه رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((المحرم لا ينكح ولا ينكح ولا يخطب))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person in the state of ihram cannot perform nikah, nor can he arrange nikah for someone else, nor can he send a marriage proposal.
