باب تحريم صيد البر على المحرم وأكله
Chapter: Prohibition of Hunting Land Animals for the Muhrim and Eating Them
Hadith Number: 4288
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما ان الصعب بن جثامة الاسدي رضي الله عنه اهدى إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم رجل حمار وحش وهو محرم فرده، وقال: ((إنا محرمون))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah Asadi (may Allah be pleased with him) presented the leg of a wild donkey as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), but he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not accept it and said: We are in the state of Ihram.
