Hadith Number: 4620
عن عطاء عن جابر قال كنا نتمتع مع النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فنذبح البقرة عن سبعة نشترك فيها
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We performed ‘Umrah along with Hajj with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and for each cow, seven people participated in its sacrifice, that is, seven people shared in one cow.
