Chapter on the Call to Prayer in the Ears of the Newborn at Birth and Chewing Date for Him Thereafter
Hadith Number: 4739
عن عبيد الله بن ابي رافع عن ابيه قال رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم اذن في اذني الحسن حين ولدته فاطمة بالصلاة
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: When Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth to Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he gave the call to prayer (adhan) in both of his ears.
