Chapter on Inviting to Islam Before Fighting, and the Imam's Instructions to the Army Commander
Hadith Number: 4934
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال ما قاتل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قوما حتى يدعوهم
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, he says: Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fought with any people, he first invited them to Islam.
