Chapter on the Distribution of the Spoils to the Detachment and Their Sharing in the Booty
Hadith Number: 5059
وعن عبادة بن صامت رضي الله عنه ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نفل في البدائة الربع وفي الرجعة الثلث
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) initially gave a quarter share, and upon return, gave an additional one-third share.
