Chapter on the Distribution of the Spoils to the Detachment and Their Sharing in the Booty
Hadith Number: 5061
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال بعثنا نبي الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم في سرية بلغت سهماننا اثني عشر بعيرا ونفلنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بعيرا بعيرا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) sent us in an army, twelve camels were allotted to our shares, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) gave each of us one extra camel as well.
