Chapter on the Prohibition of Making Vows and That It Does Not Repel Anything of Destiny
Hadith Number: 5387
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال لا تنذروا فإن النذر لا يرد شيئا من القدر وإنما يستخرج به من البخيل
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not make vows, for vows do not repel anything from destiny; rather, through them, wealth is taken out from the miser.
