It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyash (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites these words in the morning: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAHU WAHDAHU LAA AREEKA LAHU, LAHUL-MULKU WA LAHUL-HAMDU WA HUWA ‘ALAA KULLI AY’IN QADE , he will receive the reward equal to freeing a slave from among the descendants of Isma’il (peace be upon him), ten good deeds will be written for him, ten sins will be erased from him, his ten ranks will be elevated, and he will remain protected from Satan until the evening. If he does the same in the evening, he will receive the same virtue. A man saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream and said to him: O Messenger of Allah! Abu Ayyash narrates such a hadith from you? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Abu Ayyash has spoken the truth.
