Chapter: What has been reported regarding the earnings of cuppers, slave women, butchers, beggars, and others
Hadith Number: 5763
عن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول قد اعطيت خالتي غلاما وانا ارجو ان يبارك الله لها فيه وقد نهيتها ان تجعله حجاما او قصابا او صائغا
Narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I gave a slave to my maternal aunt, and I hope that Allah Almighty will make him a source of blessing for her. And I told my aunt not to make him a cupper, a butcher, or a goldsmith.
