باب النهي عن بيع النجش، وعن بيع الرجل على بيع أخيه إلا فى المزايدة
Chapter: Prohibition of najsh (artificially inflating prices) and selling over the sale of one’s brother except in auction
Hadith Number: 5902
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم نهى ان يبيع حاضر لباد او يتناجشوا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade that a townsman should sell goods on behalf of a villager, or that people should practice Najsh (artificially inflating prices).
