باب ما جاء فى دم الاحتكار
Chapter: What has been reported regarding the condemnation of hoarding
Hadith Number: 5941
عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم من احتكر طعاما اربعين ليلة فقد برئ من الله تعالى وبرئ الله تعالى منه وايما اهل عرصة اصبح فيهم امرؤ جائع فقد برئت منهم ذمة الله تعالى
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever hoards for forty nights, he is absolved from Allah and Allah is absolved from him. And if there is a hungry person with any household (and they do not feed him), then Allah's guarantee is also lifted from them.
