باب ما جاء فى مبرات المولى من أسفل ومن أسلم على يده رجل
Chapter: What has been reported regarding the inheritance of the freed slave from below and one who accepted Islam at his hand
Hadith Number: 6372
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ان مولى للنبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وقع من نخلة فمات وترك شيئا ولم يدع ولدا ولا حميما، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((اعطوا ميراثه رجلا من اهل قريته))
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a slave of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell from a date-palm and died. He had some inheritance, but neither children nor relatives. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding his inheritance: "Give it to someone from his settlement."
