Chapter on Rinsing the Mouth, Sniffing Water, and Blowing It Out
Hadith Number: 645
وعنه ايضا ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((إذا توضا احدكم فليستنثر، فإن الشيطان يبيت على خياشيمه))
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any one of you performs ablution, he should clean his nose, for indeed Satan spends the night in the nostrils or the roots of his nose."
