Chapter: Blood Money for People of the Covenant and the Mukatab
Hadith Number: 6603
وعنه من طريق ثالث قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يؤدى المكاتب بقدر ما ادى دية الحر وبقدر ما رق دية العبد
(Third chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The blood money of a mukatab will be paid according to the proportion of his freedom, and for the portion in which he remains a slave, the blood money of a slave will be paid.
