باب النهي عن اثيان الكاهن أو العراف ووعيد من أناه وصدقه
Chapter: Prohibition of Going to a Soothsayer or Fortune-Teller and the Threat to One Who Does and Believes Him
Hadith Number: 6816
عن صفية عن بعض ازواج النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((من اتى عرافا فصدقه بما يقول، لم تقبل له صلاة اربعين يوما)).
Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from one of the wives of the Messenger of Allah that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and affirms what he says, his prayers will not be accepted for forty days.
