Chapter on Performing Ablution for Every Prayer and the Permissibility of Praying Multiple Prayers with One Ablution
Hadith Number: 718
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was urinating, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stood behind him with a vessel. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked:“Umar! What is this?”He replied:“O Messenger of Allah! It is water, so that you may perform ablution with it.”But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“I have not been commanded that I must perform ablution every time I urinate, and if I do so, it will become a practice to be followed.”
