Hadith Number: 7684
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عليكم بالحبة السوداء فإن فيها شفاء من كل داء إلا السام يعني الموت والحبة السوداء الشونيز
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make it a habit to use black seed, for it contains a cure for every disease except death." By "sām" is meant death, and by "habbah sauda" is meant black cumin, that is, black seed.
