عن ربعية بنت عياض الكلابية رضي الله عنها قالت سمعت عليا رضي الله عنه يقول كلوا الرمان بشحمه فإنه دباغ المعدة
Rabee'ah bint Iyadh Kalabiyyah narrates that I heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) say: Eat pomegranate along with its membrane, for it is for the stomach as tanning is for leather to preserve it.
