Chapter on If There Is Any Truth in Bad Omens, It Is in Women, Horses, and Houses
Hadith Number: 7774
عن سعد بن مالك رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال لا هامة ولا عدوى ولا طيرة إن يكن ففي المراة والدابة والدار
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no bad omen in the owl, no contagiousness in disease, and no evil omen; if there were to be any evil omen, it would be in a woman, an animal, and a house.
