Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding the Ring Itself, Wearing It on the Right Hand, and Disliking It on the Middle Finger
Hadith Number: 7988
عن علي رضي الله عنه قال نهاني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ان اجعل خاتمي في هذه السبابة او التي تليها
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade me from wearing a ring on the index finger or the one next to it, that is, the middle finger.
