Chapter on Angels Do Not Enter a House with a Bell or a Rattle, Nor Accompany a Group with That, and the Prohibition of Keeping Them
Hadith Number: 8070
عن ابي بكر بن موسى رضي الله عنه قال كنت مع سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنه فمرت رفقة لام البنين فيها اجراس فحدث سالم عن ابيه رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم انه قال لا تصحب الملائكة ركبا معهم الجلجل فكم ترى في هؤلاء من جلجل
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr bin Abi Musa says: I came to Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar, and at that moment a caravan of Umm Banin passed by, in which there were anklets with bells. Salim narrated from his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Angels do not remain with a caravan in which there are bells. And look, how many bells there are among these people.
