Muslim bin Yanaq says: I was sitting with Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) in the gathering of Abdullah’s sons when a young man from the Quraysh passed by, and he had let his lower garment hang down. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) called him and said:“Which tribe are you from?”He replied:“From Banu Bakr.”He said:“Do you wish that Allah Almighty looks at you on the Day of Resurrection?”He replied:“Yes, of course.”He said:“Then raise your lower garment, for I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever drags his lower garment on the ground out of pride, Allah Almighty will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”
