Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding the Recommended, Permissible, and Forbidden Length of Garments
Hadith Number: 8114
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إزرة المؤمن إلى عضلة ساقيه ثم إلى نصف ساقيه ثم إلى كعبيه فما كان اسفل من ذلك في النار
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The lower garment of a believer should be up to the calf of his leg, or he may make it up to the middle of the calf, otherwise up to the ankles; whatever is below that is in the Fire.
