Chapter on the Permission for Women to Lengthen Their Garments
Hadith Number: 8125
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم امر فاطمة وام سلمة رضي الله عنهما ان تجرا الذيل ذراعا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) instructed Sayyida Fatimah and Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both) to let their garments hang down by one hand span.
