باب ما يقول من عطس ، وما يقوله له من حوله، وما يقول لهم
Chapter on What the One Who Sneezes Should Say, What Those Around Him Should Say to Him, and What He Should Say to Them
Hadith Number: 8242
عن عبد الله بن جعفر رضي الله عنه قال احدهما ذي الجناحين ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان إذا عطس حمد الله فيقال له يرحمك الله فيقول يهديكم الله ويصلح بالكم
Dhul-Janahain Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed and said "Alhamdulillah," it would be said to him in reply: "Yarhamukallah." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "Yahdikumullah wa yuslihu balakum" (May Allah guide you and set your condition right).
