Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding Standing for the Arriver
Hadith Number: 8318
عن انس رضي الله عنه قال ما كان شخص احب إليهم من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وكانوا إذا راوه لم يقوموا لما يعلمون من كراهيته لذلك
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that no person was dearer to the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) than the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but when they saw him (peace and blessings be upon him), they would not stand up, because they knew that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not like this.
