It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) under that tree, when suddenly a man came from that valley and greeted you (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I intend to perform jihad with you, my purpose is to attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty and the home of the Hereafter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Are either of your parents alive? He said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! Both are alive. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then go back and do good to your parents. So he returned to where he had come from.
