Hadith Number: 9000
عن المقدام بن معدي كرب الكندي رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إن الله عز وجل يوصيكم بامهاتكم إن الله يوصيكم بآبائكم إن الله يوصيكم بالاقرب فالاقرب
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma’dikarib Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Verily, Allah enjoins you concerning your mothers; verily, Allah enjoins you concerning your fathers; verily, Allah enjoins you concerning, after them, the next closest and then the next closest relatives.
