Chapter on encouragement to poverty with righteousness
Hadith Number: 9309
(وعنه من طريق ثان) انه سمع النعمان بن بشير يخطب وهو يقول احمد الله تعالى فربما اتى على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم الشهر يظل يتلوى ما يشبع من الدقل
(Second chain) Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) said while delivering a sermon: I praise Allah Almighty. Indeed, there were such months that would come upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that creases would appear on him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not even be satisfied with inferior dates.
