Muhammad bin Sirin says: A woman named Mawiyaa used to come to us; her children would pass away. She went to Ubaidullah bin Mu’ammar Quraishi, while a companion of the Messenger of Allah was also sitting with him. That companion narrated that a woman brought her son to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He keeps him alive and safe; before this, three of my children have passed away. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked:“Since you accepted Islam, have three children of yours died?”She replied: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“This is a very strong means of protection (from the Fire).”Mawiyaa says: Ubaidullah bin Mu’ammar said to me: O Mawiyaa, listen carefully (and act with patience and fear Allah). Muhammad bin Sirin says: This woman (Mawiyaa) left Ibn Mu’ammar and came to us and narrated this hadith to us.
