It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us regarding seven things and forbade us from seven things. The things which he commanded were: visiting the sick, attending funerals, saying“Yarhamukallah”to one who sneezes, replying to greetings, fulfilling the oath of one who swears, accepting the invitation of one who invites, and helping the oppressed. And the things from which he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade were: silver utensils, gold bracelets, istabraq (a type of silk), silk, dibaj (another type of silk), mounts or boats adorned with silk or dibaj, and qassi (a kind of cloth).
