باب ما جاء فى الترهيب من مواقع الشبه ومواطن الريبة
Chapter on what has been narrated regarding warning against places of suspicion and doubtful matters
Hadith Number: 9852
عن انس بن مالك رضي الله عنه ان رجلا مر برسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ومعه بعض ازواجه فقال يا فلانة يعلمه انها زوجته فقال الرجل يا رسول الله اتظن بي فقال إني خشيت ان يدخل عليك الشيطان
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while his wife was standing with him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called out to that man: "O so-and-so," in fact, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to inform him that this woman was his wife. The man replied: "O Messenger of Allah! Do you have any suspicion about me?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, I feared that Satan might enter into you (and create some evil thought)."
